Whether you are an amateur or professional athlete, a senior, or rehabilitating from an injury, Power Plate Training is for you. Vibration training was brought to the forefront by Russian scientists to counter the lack of gravity in space which allowed their cosmonauts to return from space as fragile and feeble.

The enforced vibrations caused by a vibrating platform create a reflex contraction of the muscles involved. The speed of movement increase the gravity effect up to six times its normal value. In other words, it is possible to perform a very intensive work out without using additional weights.

Regular vibration training results in an increase in strengthen, increased metabolism, improved circulation, muscle relaxation, increased flexibility, bone density and general well being. Bodyscapes is among the few Arizona facilities to offer Power Plate training continuing our tradition of being a leader in the exercise field.

We encourage you to drink at least 8-10 oz of water of a sports drink, a half hour before Power Plate training. We recommend a wrestling or basketball shoe and fitted clothing.
