SPORTS-SPECIFIC TRAINING

BODYSCAPES BACK-CARE PROGRAM:

Modeled after the San Francisco Back Clinic and the concepts of Gyrotonic Expansion System, our back strengthening program emphasizes functional stability. Techniques include movement reeducation, body control, abdominal strengthening and basic body mechanics.

BODYSCAPES SPORT FITNESS PROGRAM:

Sport-specific training is one key to peak performance regardless of your game. Analyzing weaknesses is key to training proper energy systems and using them efficiently is the goal. Core strength and good nutrition will give you the winning edge.


BODYSCAPES GOLF FITNESS PROGRAM:

Total conditioning to ease the stresses of golf, correct muscle imbalances and strengthen the abdominals and back. This program tracks the mechanics of the swing to improve your golf strength and flexibility. Rotation and mobility of the trunk, hips and shoulders are par for the course. Use our Golf Therapy Bar and gain more distance.


BODYSCAPES TENNIS FITNESS PROGRAM:

Explosive power helps you stay in the game. We emphasize muscular and cardiovascular endurance with strength training to isolate tennis muscles. Agility, coordination, balance and improved reaction time to give you a real advantage.



BODYSCAPES KID FITNESS PROGRAM:

Emphasizing proper lifting techniques while providing young athletes an opportunity to develop social exercise skills that are safe and fun. Proper resistance training and stretching techniques, based on readiness, are imperative because of possible risk to growing bones. Total fitness is the focus to prepare youths for their sport competition.

SPECIALTY CLASSES

SENIOR TRAINING:

Exercise designed for the mature adult. Age levels include 90 plus year old clients. Counseling and kinesthetic training required for dynamic stabilization. Our goal is to restore muscle balance and function.



PRE-HABILITATION:

Exercise for special populations.... the patient has special needs such as Cardiac Rehab, Diabetics, Hip or Knee Replacement etc.

REHABILITATION:

Post-physical therapy for the patient who has completed physical therapy but still needs elite supervision. A pilates environment may be the missing link in your pre- and post-physical therapy program.

PRE-NATAL EXERCISE:

A program especially for the mom-to-be designed to be STRESS-FREE to the fetus.... and NO STRAIN on the back.
