Working with the Special Needs Client |
This workshop explains step by step how to evaluate and plan a workout for the physically challenged client.
The workshop will explain protocols for clients recovering from major orthopedic challenges (disk problems, knee injuries, etc.). It will include protocols for peri-natal clients. Exercise protocols will be outlined in detailed for clients with osteoporosis, Parkinsons disease, Fibromyalgia and arthritis.
Participants with be taught how to write SOAP (progress) notes for their clients.
Participants will also learn how to modify verbal and tactile cues to best facilitate neuromuscular re-education for the physically challenged client.

PILATES ANATOMY |
THIS 24 HOUR COURSE BRINGS MUSCLES AND BONES ALIVE. This hands on course is a must for the changing career student but also is of valuable review for the fitness professional or physical therapist. (This course is optional for the science-background student.) Will give student an opportunity to learn palpation skills, use props, skeletons and drawings.

Stability of the Pelvis |
Understanding the anatomy of the pelvis is essential to sports specific training. Angela Sundberg will show you fun and immediately useful stability training protocols. The exercises can be implemented into your Weight Training, Athletic Conditioning, Yoga, Tai Chi, Dance, or Rehab exercise programs.

Dynamic Shoulder Stabilization |
This 6-hour workshop will give you deeper understanding of muscles of the shoulder and their relationship to Pilates, GYROTONIC ™and fitness exercises. for Golfers
For professional or amateur golfers and fitness instructors, |
This workshop will give you more distance off the tees. Feldenkrais® master trainer Jeff Haller will guide you through Awareness Through Movement® changing your golf posture while teaching you efficient use of your golf muscles. Golf Digest swing coach and golf author Tim Mahony will show you ways to correct your swing faults. Talking Stick golf course is our practice tee. Bring your golf clubs.

Pilates for Golfers
For professional or amateur golfers and fitness instructors,

It don't mean a thing if you ain't got that swing. Kinesiology of the golf swing is the focus of this 7-hour workshop. The program starts with Pilates exercises for golf by Angela Sundberg. The last 3 hours will be taught at Kierland Golf course by golf professional Mike Labauve, owner of Labauve Golf Academy. Mike teaches for Golf Digest schools and has worked with professional golfers for the past 20 years. If you have clubs, bring them along. Tee it up and join us.

This course details of the FUNDAMENTALS of Pilates alignment, breathing and awareness exercises. This course is great for the instructor who needs to prepare clients for pilates classes. Will demonstrate exercises for the pelvis, knees, hips neck and shoulders to stabilize them to do Pilates classes. This course is great for the new instructor.

RIGHT BRAIN PILATES |
This course explores the intuitive aspects of Pilates for the practicing instructor. Right brain Pilates synthesizes a 3-dimentional approach to pilates. You illuminate Pilates when you add the mind & spirit. (Remember, the mind navigates the body.) The participants will use natural instincts: feeling, sensing and seeing to design effective programs. Students will be taught how to incorporate right brain function into their left brain protocols. Participants will see how the mind, body and spirit equal pilates synergy. This course goes over mat & reformer exercises with this 3-D approach.
